Boston – Mass Power Forward, a statewide coalition of more than 200 organizations, sent a letter asking legislators to pass last session’s climate bill into law by February 19.

The bill (S.9) was approved by the House and Senate last Thursday and is currently sitting on Governor Charlie Baker’s desk. If Governor Baker vetoes the bill or returns it with weakening amendments, the coalition is calling on legislators to ensure the bill becomes a law before February 19, the deadline to file bills for the new session.
