Save the bees

Tell Walmart: Stop selling bee-killing pesticides

Walmart CEO Doug McDillon:

We urge you to stop selling bee-killing pesticides at Walmart.

Neonicotinoids are poisoning bees. Once exposed to neonics, bees face uncontrollable shaking, paralysis and death. Pesticides that kill our most important pollinators aren’t essential.

Your company has already recognized the importance of pollinators, and you’ve taken some initial steps, such as committing to only sell fresh produce that is grown at farms with integrated pest management strategies, labeling pollinator-friendly plants and establishing pollinator habitats at your stores.

Walmart can have an even bigger impact for the bees by ending the sale of bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides at its stores and online.

Sincerely,
