Today Environment America Research & Policy Center submitted comments to the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA), supporting requirements for efficient all-electric new technologies, rooftop solar and encouraging energy storage.

August 30th is the deadline for the public to weigh in on how energy will be produced and consumed in buildings across the Empire State in the future. Comments can be submitted via this portal.

The proposed new stretch codes are part of New York state’s efforts to reach 100% clean energy by 2040.
