Tell The Home Depot: Stop selling bee-killing pesticides
To: Edward Decker, CEO, The Home Depot
The Home Depot should stop selling bee-killing pesticides. Neonicotinoid pesticides (neonics) are deadly to bees.
Bees are some of our most important pollinators, but they are struggling to survive. Gallons and gallons of neonics are poisoning bees in our lawns, gardens and parks. Green spaces that should be safe for bees are increasingly toxic.
As the #1 home improvement retailer, if The Home Depot stops selling bee-killing pesticides, it would have a big impact for the bees.
Your company already committed to stop selling live plants with neonics, which we’ve applauded. Now you should take the next step to stop selling all neonics throughout your stores.
