Protect Allegheny County’s Environment

The Pittsburgh region has an abundance of incredible rivers and streams, and awe-inspiring parks that make this a wonderful place to live and work. At the same time, Allegheny County’s air and water continue to suffer from excessive pollution, our neighborhoods are plagued by litter, and climate change wreaks more and more havoc on the region every year.

That’s why I support the Green Allegheny Issue & Policy Agenda — a set of 50 recommendations compiled by local experts that can help our local leaders put Allegheny County at the forefront of environmental protection, promoting renewable energy and tackling climate change, and cleaning up pollution.

Sincerely,
