Fairfield Lake State Park

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) recently announced that Fairfield Lake State Park would close to the public at the end of the month. TPWD has tried and failed to purchase the land on which the park is located, but the owner — power company Vistra — has instead reached a deal to sell the land to real estate developer Todd Interests to build a golf course and gated community.

Contact your state representative and state senator and urge them to take action and save Fairfield Lake State Park.
