Some of our most spectacular ocean places are getting spotlighted this summer during the annual “Get Into Your Sanctuary” photo contest, run by the National Marine Sanctuary program.

Photographers of all experience levels who made the trek to one of the system’s 15 sanctuaries this summer can submit photos highlighting the cute (or ugly) marine wildlife, scenic vistas or fun activities that visitors enjoy in these national treasures.

You can read more about the contest and how to submit your photos for consideration here. Submissions are due by September 5th, and you can check out the 2022 winners here.
