Rooftop Solar on the Rise

Environment America Research & Policy Center’s Johanna Neumann shared key findings of a new report, Rooftop Solar on the Rise: Small solar projects are delivering 10 times as much power as a decade ago.

Frontier Group’s Tony Dutzik unveiled a new interactive dashboard that allows you to compare small-scale solar at the state level and see how much we’re taking advantage of residential, commercial and industrial rooftops in each state.

Local and state leaders including State Senator Sarah Elfreth from Maryland; Mayor Kelly Girtz of Athens, Georgia; Mayor Ron Nirenberg of San Antonio, Texas; Chairman Doug Scott of the Illinois Commerce Commission, and Veronique Oomen, Director of Clean Energy at the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities share actions they are taking to help America tap its vast rooftop solar potential and answered questions.
