Our staff are working hard to save the bees in California, Colorado and other states
Check out this video field update from our canvassers and staff

California is pushing to become the tenth state to restrict the worst uses of bee-killing pesticides called neonicotinoids, or “neonics” for short.
Earlier this year, Colorado took the same action. This state-by-state push to save the bees started in 2016 with Connecticut and Maryland. In the years that followed, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island took similar actions.
Check out this video highlighting two public education events in California (with a still-frame cameo from Gov. Polis in Colorado).
We’ll keep leaning into state action, and as you can see in the video, we’ll work hard to educate and engage the public.
You can join in by calling on your governor to plant bee-friendly vegetation on public lands.
