Tell the FWS: Don’t remove protections for endangered Southern sea otters
Federal protections are necessary to ensure that the Southern sea otter and its habitat are protected.
If Washington state gets this right, the Evergreen State will have done far more than protect an ocean plant.
The state of Washington has a goal of preserving 10,000 acres of kelp and seagrass — a very important first step that will protect marine life and ocean ecosystems. Other states should follow its lead.
Next comes the hard work of hitting its goal. Click on the tweet below to read the op-ed and learn more.
The decline of #kelp & #seagrass is happening right under our noses, yet out of view. It's great our state diving in and working on it. https://t.co/7EieNZV0E7
