Environment Texas and residents testify at public hearing about ExxonMobil’s Baytown Olefins Plant

On February 5th, 2024, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) held a hearing in Baytown, Texas to solicit input from the public on ExxonMobil’s application to renew the federal permit for its olefins plant. Many Baytowners told TCEQ to reject the proposed permit and require stronger pollution controls. This video captures some of their stories.
