Are you looking for an internship for the summer in Washington, D.C.? Are you passionate about tackling the most profound challenge of our time- a way of living that’s destroying the natural world? We’re hiring summer interns in our Washington Legislative Office to reduce plastic pollution, advocate for more clean energy and protect forests, wildlife and wild places.

Here’s what past interns have to say:

  • If you care about the work you are doing, the results are beyond rewarding!
  • I learned what strategies can be used to increase public awareness of a campaign/program, and how to decipher what is most effective.
  • This internship definitely solidified my interest in and passion for working on the big environmental challenges we face today.
  • One of the things I’m most proud of was getting the Kentucky OpEd that I helped write published in local news.
  • There is a lot of independence given to you, so you are responsible for keeping yourself accountable, meeting deadlines, and producing quality work. If you put a lot of effort into what you’re doing, then you can see the impacts you’re making, which is a nice feeling.
  • Thank you for an amazing summer!
