Environment New Hampshire, Environment America endorse re-election of US Rep. Ann Kuster

CONCORD, N.H. – Environment New Hampshire and its national office Environment America announced Thursday that they are endorsing the re-election of U.S. Rep. Ann Kuster in New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District.

Rep. Kuster says she comes “from a family that has a long history of supporting conservation and wildlife in New Hampshire” and she’s built on that legacy in the House of Representatives as a member of both the Energy and Commerce Committee and the Agriculture Committee. Rep. Kuster has cosponsored several key bills on a wide range of issues including wildlife conservation, plastic pollution and sewage overflows.

“Representative Ann Kuster deserves the label ‘green champion’ for her stellar voting record in the House fighting for New Hampshire’s interests,” said Lisa Frank, the executive director of Environment America’s Washington Legislative Office. “Her work to protect forests, fields and farms helps make both New Hampshire and the overall United States cleaner and healthier. We would all benefit from at least two more years of Ann Kuster in Congress.”
