We attended the Energy Coordinating Agency’s graduation for their first cohort of students trained as heat pump installer technicians. The six graduates learned from a great team of trainers and a state-of-the-art heat pump training lab.

Heat pumps are more efficient heating and cooling systems that can temperature regulate your home, heat your water and even dry your clothes more efficiently than other technologies. They are great for lowering your homes carbon emissions – and saving money on your energy bills at the same time.

In addition to heat pump training, the Energy Coordinating Agency also provides training on weatherization, energy efficiency, and solar installation. Learning these skills helps students enter a growing workforce and help their community make the most of the rebates and incentives from the Inflation Reduction Act.

Check out our Clean Energy Home Toolkit to learn how you can make the most of these tax credits and install a heat pump, weatherize your home, and more!
